Welcome to Safe Rescue For Dogs

Safe Rescue for Dogs is a registered charity set up for dogs from all walks of life.

We are a nationwide rescue that takes in and rehomes dogs from the UK and abroad. We  do our best to match dogs with adopters to create harmonious and settled home lives for all involved. We endeavour to fix what is broken… find homes for the homeless and be a voice for the voiceless.

Great rescue. Lovely people who really care about finding the right owners for these pups. Feel more like family than a company. The coffee mornings are a great way to meet the dogs and see how they interact, that where we fell in love with our guys 🥰

We adopted Nala, a Safe Rescue cat and Badger a Safe Rescue dog, this year. The adoption process is very thorough and they are all quite clearly very dedicated to rescuing these dogs and cats.
Taking the opportunity to go along to their fund raising coffee mornings is a great way to meet those dogs who are waiting for their forever home and to see for yourself what a wonderful job they all do.

I fostered Spritzer before adopting her - I had already adopted Bernard and these two are my 4th and 5th Safe Rescue dogs having lost my other three. They have all been a joy and it is wonderful to see the transformation they go through. Joyous! Thank you Safe Rescue!

We have recently adopted Rambo after meeting him at one of the coffee mornings, the whole experience with Safe rescue has been amazing. They were thorough without it feeling overbearing. It’s clear to see that all of the volunteers love the dogs in their care and want the best for them. We would definitely use Safe rescue again in the future

We collected Matilda after waiting 5 weeks from first registering and choosing her. She is an enormous big fluffy shepherd dog with a heart as big as her body. She is calm, loving, gentle but very nervous and still very unsure around men but that will come in time. She's not too keen on long walks but at the moment everything is new to her. She was terrified of the TV, mop and vacum, and fliches when you raise a hand, but we are both working very patiently with her because we know she has so much to give and really deserves a happy and safe home. We have received all the relevant paperwork and medical background from Safe Rescue and would definitely recommend them.
