Safe Rescue for Dogs is a registered charity set up for dogs from all walks of life.

We are a nationwide rescue that takes in and rehomes dogs from the UK and abroad. We  do our best to match dogs with adopters to create harmonious and settled home lives for all involved. We endeavour to fix what is broken… find homes for the homeless and be a voice for the voiceless.

We collected Matilda after waiting 5 weeks from first registering and choosing her. She is an enormous big fluffy shepherd dog with a heart as big as her body. She is calm, loving, gentle but very nervous and still very unsure around men but that will come in time. She's not too keen on long walks but at the moment everything is new to her. She was terrified of the TV, mop and vacum, and fliches when you raise a hand, but we are both working very patiently with her because we know she has so much to give and really deserves a happy and safe home. Safe Rescue made the adoption process very straightforward for us, they replied promptly throughout all our communication and the  details on their website was accurate. We adopted our dog via Safe Rescue 4 weeks ago and she is fabulous and just as they said she would be. I highly recommend Safe rescue for dogs if you are looking to adopt 😊 the process from start to finish was quick and efficient. We went and met our boy at the fosters home and we couldn't fault them, such lovely people who give us so much information that made our decision easier to decide if we was the right family for him. We adopted the most lovely boy (Batman) we had a couple of settling in problems but after talking to safe rescue and following the advice the issues were ironed out quickly and Batman is a dream to be apart of our family. No hesitation in recommending Safe Rescue.  A Very friendly and efficient team.  They arranged our house and garden check quickly and have been very supportive from day one.   The dog they helped us select has proved a perfect match.   He gets on extremely well with our existing dog  It’s been lovely to see him growing in confidence every day.
